About Us
BestCare Medical Supplies, based in Pretoria, is a 100% black woman-owned company, founded in March 1998 by Naomi Ngwenya after a nursing career of 17 years. The company is a distributor of medical supplies to public and private hospitals and clinics. It has memberships with networking organisations and has won numerous awards.
BestCare sources its products directly from overseas manufacturers and delivers to end users without the use of a multinational middleman. The company specialises in providing hospitals with quality consumable products that are user-friendly and effective, to facilitate the patient healing process. The company is now importing innovative products that will assist in speeding up the healing process and lowering hospital costs. BestCare provides a wide range of hospital consumable products. Our product range includes wound care dressing products, orthopaedic products, neo-natal products, surgical drapes (infection prevention), suction & fluid waste management, sterilisation products and masks.
We are also the exclusive distributor of two patent products in the South African market. The two products are manufactured in the United States by one of our suppliers, namely DeRoyal. The first product is Algidex, which is the only Maltodextrin wound care dressing in the market; the second product is Multidex, which is also an excellent wound care product. Both products play a vital role in the healing of persistent wounds that are difficult to heal. Algidex and Multidex speed up the healing process of diabetic ulcers and pressure ulcers which could not be done before, and therefore these products help save lives.
Our Clients
